February Florida Planting Guide!

Freshly Planted Front Yard Garden Beds!

As February is a day away, it’s time to change up the seeds to start to incorporate some warm weather crops with our cool season ones! That’s right, this time of the year is the best time of year to really get diversity of abundance started in your Florida home garden. January and February are unique months here where we are able to sow many warm and cold season crops together.

YES! That means this is the time to hedge your bets on the most beloved Corn, Cucumbers and Tomato plants! GOOD LUCK!

This season I have expanded by backyard garden into my front yard too! The photo shows my yard freshly planted about 2 weeks ago…I will share more photos as it grows! We here at the co-op ask you to do the same if you can. Front yard gardens create neighborhood interest and are a catalyst to inspire your neighbors to start growing too! More home gardens means more sustainability for our community!
