The growth of our local food movement is VERY important and we need YOUR support to make it happen.
Many of us Pinellas County residents are concerned about our lack of Food Security here in this peninsula of a million people with NO FARMS! We are working hard together to grow a local food economy that strengthens our local community Spirit and Economy.
Taken care of properly, backyard chickens can provide high quality, low cost medicinal food for families, educational experiences for children, overall an amazing experience. The RIGHT to grow our own food is a HUMAN RIGHT, please support it.

Pinellas County Backyard Chicken Ordinance

WHAT: The County Commission will be hearing public testimony and voting on the proposed backyard chicken ordinance. The proposed ordinance is for 4 hens in backyards in unincorporated Pinellas county. We need all of the support we can get!
